Conquer Your Business Fears

Monday, April 7th, 2008

By Biana Babinsky What are your business fears? Are you afraid of being a successful business owner? Do you think that if you become successful, you will lose your authenticity? Are you afraid you do not know how to market your business? Are you afraid of bothering your potential clients with your offers? Many business owners I have coached had business fears. These business fears usually left them unable to market and promote their products and services. As a result, these business owners spend time being afraid, instead of spending it on marketing and finding new clients for their business. Their bottom line suffers, and sometimes they even have to close down their business because they can’t get clients. Conquer your business fears! I am listing three common fears that many business owners have, along with suggestions on how you can conquer them: - Your Business Fear: You don’t really know what marketing is and how to apply it to your business, so you can’t really use it until you know all about it. How To Conquer Your Business Fear: If you wait for everything in your business to be perfect before you start, you will never start. Instead of waiting to learn a lot about marketing, start marketing now. For example, write an article relevant to your business and submit it to article directories. This will give you a start in marketing your business. - Your Business Fear: You will not appear very genuine to your clients if you market yourself. You are a professional and your clients should just magically find you themselves. How To Conquer Your Business Fear: If your potential clients don’t know who you are, they can’t hire you. You need to get your name out there and become seen as an expert in your field to get clients. You can become a highly visible person in your field by writing and publishing articles in your field of expertise, publishing a newsletter, and participating in online networking. Use these as opportunities to share information with your potential customers and educate them about you and your business. - Your Business Fear: People don’t need what you are offering. How To Conquer Your Business Fear: There is a great way to make sure that people you are marketing your products and services want them. Market your products and services to members of your target market. These are the people who already want, need and can afford your products and services. When you promote your products and services to people who want them, things happen. It becomes easy to get clients and make money. Your products and services are in demand. You become the go-to person in your field of expertise. Use the ideas above to conquer your marketing fears. Doing this will get your more clients and help you take your business to a whole new level. Learn how to conquer your business fears by learning exactly how to market your business online! Mosquito Control

Sunday, April 6th, 2008

By Kent Pinkerton The world over any place facing a mosquito problem is constantly researching into ways and means of curtailing the menace. It is a difficult task, as it is almost next to impossible to drive these insects out of existence. Their breeding patterns create them in millions each year. Certain Governments have taken this issue seriously and have set-up separate units dealing with mosquito control. Even pharmaceutical companies that are in the business of manufacturing repellants have a research and development team well in place. The biggest problem that scientists face is the immunity factor. Mosquitos tend to get immune to the repellants, causing a need to research for more effective chemicals and a ways and means. This does not happen ever so often, but it does pose a major challenge. Generally speaking mosquito control programs are designed at two levels, being for larger areas, and the smaller units. However, no matter what the magnitude every mosquito control program aims at eradicating the menace from the source and minimizing the number of pests if not completely eradicating them. In order to be able to achieve this target those involved attempt to bring about changes that will completely dissuade the mosquitos from flying into the region. The mosquito control program also attempts at finding natural means of reducing the menace. This includes horticulture and animal or insect breeding; i.e., harmful species that feed on mosquitos or repel them completely. The local governing bodies keep aside a large amount of revenue to control the menace, as the biggest fear in a mosquito breeding ground is the spread of ailments such as yellow fever, malaria, dengue fever, elephantiasis and human encephalitis. Even mosquito control within individual households is social concern. This is why the programs are not just restricted to location-wise control, but also looking into and rectifying individual living methods. Skin Care: Organic, Natural or Scientifically Advanced - Which is Best?

Saturday, April 5th, 2008

By Alpha Ward-Burns In an age where fear of water impurities has millions drinking bottled water, and concerns about genetically engineered corn has others searching for natural food sources, many people are also wondering what type of products to use for healthy skincare. We are frightened by the new world we seemingly live in, and at first blush may think that organic or natural is the way to go - as the words “organic” and “natural” in and of themselves engender visions of a time when life was simpler, purer and more wholesome. This fear often drives us to the multitude of publications promoting organic or natural lifestyles; however once we delve into their pages the information barrage may be overwhelming. Are soy beans really good for us, and if so do we have to eat five pounds a day to see any benefit? Lemon juice may help bleach out age spots, but is all that acid really healthy for our skin? Can ginseng actually alleviate wrinkles, and if so, why doesnt every skincare company in the world use it as an ingredient? The truth of the matter is: organic and natural skincare promotions cannot be trusted in a vacuum no more than any other information concerning our health. It is logical to believe that many substances which are an indigenous part of the natural world around us are extremely beneficial to our health, but lets use some common sense. We were given brains to scrutinize, analyze and research for good reason. This is where scientific research comes into play. Unfortunately, high profile abuses by pharmaceutical companies and others have somewhat tainted the word science in our society, but we must admit that scientific research has more successes than failures to its credit. The skincare industry, in particular, has been able to rely upon scientific research with great success, in part, because ingredients considered for skincare products can be researched without the high risks associated with products that are internally ingested. Skincare research that not only investigates the benefits, safety and effectiveness of natural ingredients, but also explores how these ingredients can be enhanced to give us the healthiest skincare product possible, gives us the best of both worlds a wholesome natural approach that results in the most advanced skincare possible. The answer to the question posed in the title of this article comes down to how we feel about the following: Would we eat mold to cure an infection? Absolutely not, but availing ourselves of the benefits of penicillin is an entirely different story. The 5 Secrets You Must Uncover to Pay Off Your Mortgage in the Shortest Possible Time

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

By Rob Sallay Youve been making monthly mortgage payments for so long that the checks almost write themselves. But have you become financially complacent, failing to consider ways to decrease your payments or overall debt? Here are 5 secrets to paying off your mortgage in the shortest possible time. 1. Get a Mortgage Tune-Up You take your car to your mechanic several times a year to keep it in optimum running condition. The same principle applies to your mortgage, according to Ron Chicaferro, president of Thornburg Mortgage Home Loans, based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Homeowners really need to do a mortgage tune-up at least once a quarter, he says. To be a savvy homeowner today means more than just locking in a low-interest rate. Borrowers need to know if theyre paying too much for security they dont need and if their lender is charging them unnecessary fees. When it comes to saving money, it pays to know when its right to refinance and to ask lenders about innovative mortgage products that can reduce monthly payments. There’s nothing like a mortgage tune-up to save homeowners cash. 2. Pull the Switch As interest rates rise, homeowners with adjustable-rate mortgages (ARMs)which have become increasingly popular among consumers who want to keep monthly payments lowmay want to consider switching to a fixed-rate mortgage. The gap between long- and short-term rates has narrowed, making even hybrid ARMswhich are fixed for an initial periodnot as good a deal as they used to be, says Valerie Patterson, senior editor of RealEstateJournal.com. Now is a good time for homeowners with adjustable rates to consider refinancing with a fixed-rate mortgage. Of course, a great deal depends on how long you plan to remain in your home, as well as the cost of refinancing, Patterson notes. 3. Trouble in Paradise? Money problems and debt are key contributors to todays high divorce rate, and most families take a financial hit after a couple parts company. As the lawyers jockey for position, a critical question emerges: Who gets the house? (And the mortgage payments) If you own a home, the mortgage is likely your most significant monthly payment, says Brad Stroh, co-CEO of the San Mateo, California-based Freedom Financial Network, LLC, a company that specializes in debt resolution services. Be certain you understand how youll resolve monthly mortgage payments and how youll divide the homes valuewhether one partner buys out the other now or the home is to be sold after children are grown. 4. The Early Bird Catches the Penalty If you receive a sudden windfall and decide to pay off your entire mortgage earlier than planned, make sure there is no penalty for doing so. You always want to secure a mortgage that specifies there will be no penalty for paying it off early, but if you happened to miss this clause in the contractsomething youll definitely want to avoid in the futurethink twice before writing a check. Speak with a certified financial plannersomeone with nothing to gain from whatever decision you maketo determine the best way to handle this situation. 5. When the Unexpected HappensIf you suddenly lose your job or suffer an illness that will create a temporary hardship, it may be difficult to keep up with mortgage payments. Protect your investmentand prevent foreclosureby working out a forbearance agreement with your lender. A forbearance agreement allows for a temporary change, such as loweringor, in some cases, eliminatingyour payments for a specified period of time, says Andrew Housser, Strohs partner and co-CEO. In order to agree to this, your lender must be convinced that your hardship is temporary and that you will be able to get back on track in the future. Otherwise, they may view forbearance as merely delaying the inevitable. Other options, according to Housser, are: A loan modification, which serves as a permanent change in terms. A deed in lieu, which lets you offer the deed to your home to prevent foreclosure. Sale of your home. Refinancing your mortgage for a lower interest rate or monthly payment. Dont make the mistake that will cost you your home: saying nothing and defaulting on payments. —- Mortgage Relief specializes in assisting Australian families with mortgages by making their monthly repayments more manageable and decreasing their overall debt and total interest paid over the life of their mortgage.
